- Preheat the oven to 175ºC/350ºF.
- Now, to prepare the Italian spread, mix the butter and oil together in a small bowl to make a soft consistency. Add the herbs, garlic, and Parmesan and mix. Finally, season with salt and pepper.
- Place each wedge on a piece of tin foil that is large enough to completely wrap it. Apply a generous amount of spread, entirely covering each wedge. (If the spread is too soft, just chill it in the fridge for a few minutes.) Finally, wrap the tin foil around each wedge to seal the parcel so it can steam.
- Place the individual wedges on a baking tray and bake for 45 minutes until the cabbage is tender. Serve piping hot with a side of rice.
Try grilling the cabbage parcels rather than baking them!
